Designed to hold three of the five general shapes of wine bottles and cool them right up to the neck, the iconic 5052 Wine Cooler by Ettore Sottass has been in production at Alessi since 1979.

Great attention is paid to the details: the body is thicker at the base and on the edge for rigidity, the handles afford a perfect grip even with just one hand, the depth means the bottle can be immersed fully, and the shape means that several coolers can be stacked. Generally you can fit 2 bottles at a time in the cooler.
