The Serax concrete plant pots are designed by Marie Michielssen, who has always been fascinated by opposites. This is why she has chosen concrete as the material for the plant pots – to create a contrast between the sturdy concrete and the vitality of plants. The handles on both sides bring functionality and originality to the minimalistic design.

- The concrete pot can also be placed outside on the patio or balcony but should not be left in the rain or cold weather. As there is no drainage hole in the bottom, plants should not be planted directly in the pot – you can place a plastic pot and saucer inside it or use a plastic bag.
Belgian designer Marie Michielssen draws her inspiration from everyday life. In her designs, she likes to combine unexpected materials and is particularly fascinated by old, sometimes even forgotten materials. Typical of her designs is also the use of contrasting colours or materials, but in a way that a certain balance, a certain harmony is preserved. Michielssen’s background as a graphic designer is also often evident in her work. Michielssen has been a house designer for the Belgian lifestyle brand Serax for many years.
Serax works with passionate designers all over the globe to make your home look more beautiful, add personality to your interior, and creates unforgettable moments at the dining table.
